What Owners Say After Working With Us
These are accounts from Singapore small business owners who have been through a Bahtera Labs engagement. Honest, specific, and in their own words.

I was not sure what AI meant for an electrical contractor. The Setting Off Review helped me see two or three things that were worth doing and a lot of things that were not. That honesty was what sold me. We ended up doing the Crossing Setup three months later and now my job bookings and invoices talk to each other automatically.
May 2025 · Setting Off Review, Crossing SetupRunning a small restaurant means everything pulls at your attention at once. The retainer has been genuinely useful — not because some big change happened, but because small things keep getting handled before they pile up. The quarterly review is calm and practical. I do not dread it like I used to dread certain kinds of meetings.
April 2025 · Steady Crew RetainerThe written diagram they produced after the setup was something I did not know I needed until I had it. It is laminated on the wall now. When a new staff member joined last month I handed her the sheet and she understood the system in about twenty minutes. That alone was worth the price.
May 2025 · Crossing SetupI am not technical at all and was quite nervous going in. They explained everything in plain terms and never made me feel like I was slowing things down. The review confirmed what I already suspected — most of my processes are fine as they are, but one was taking far too long. That one has been sorted now.
April 2025 · Setting Off ReviewWe had five different apps that none of our three staff used the same way. After the Crossing Setup, things flow through in the right order. The two weeks of support after the setup mattered — there was one odd situation on day four that Jin sorted out before it became anything serious.
March 2025 · Crossing SetupThe retainer fits well because my business changes with the seasons. When I took on two more bays in February the crew adjusted everything without me having to explain the whole picture again. They already knew how we work. That continuity is hard to put a dollar value on, but it is real.

LKW Electrical — Toa Payoh
Electrical Contractor · 6 StaffThe Situation
Job bookings came in through WhatsApp and were typed manually into a spreadsheet. Invoices were produced separately in a different file. Staff often worked from outdated versions of both, which led to occasional double-bookings and invoices going out late.
What Was Done
After the Setting Off Review, the owner chose to proceed with the Crossing Setup. We connected the booking channel to the scheduling app and linked the scheduling app to the invoicing tool. The written diagram was posted in the office for staff reference.
After Three Months
Double-bookings dropped to zero in the first month. Invoices now go out the same day a job closes. The owner estimates around four hours per week saved across the team — time that now goes into following up on pending quotes.
Currynama Kitchen — Geylang
F&B · 9 StaffThe Situation
The restaurant was handling catering enquiries across three channels — WhatsApp, Instagram, and email — without any central record. Staff were sometimes responding to the same enquiry twice, or not at all. The owners were spending evenings catching up on messages.
What Was Done
We set up the Crossing Setup to route catering enquiries from all three channels into a shared inbox. An assistant categorises each message and marks urgent ones. The Steady Crew Retainer followed, keeping the assistant adjusted as the catering menu changed seasonally.
After Six Months
The owners no longer spend evenings on messages. Response time to catering enquiries dropped from an average of eighteen hours to under four. One staff member now manages all three channels in about forty minutes a day.
YW Accounting Services — Bugis
Professional Services · 3 StaffThe Situation
A small accounting firm with three staff and five different apps — for client communication, document storage, time tracking, invoicing, and task management. None of the apps exchanged data with the others, so information had to be entered manually in multiple places.
What Was Done
The Crossing Setup connected the five apps so that client onboarding updates, document requests, and invoice triggers flow automatically. Each staff member received the written diagram and a thirty-minute walkthrough. The first fortnight of support caught one configuration edge case before it caused any data issues.
After Four Months
Manual data entry across apps is largely gone. The principal estimates around six hours per week saved for the team combined. A new junior staff member was onboarded in half the usual time because the diagram made the workflow clear from day one.
